Six Degrees has won four Gold Awards in the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards for the Thames and Chiltern Region. The company was also runner-up as the region’s PR Team of the Year 2005/2006. The winning entries now go forward to be judged nationally against the winning entries from all eleven of the CIPR’s regions. Six Degrees entered five categories and won four of them. Managing Director, Jennifer Janson, says; “We are absolutely thrilled by our success at the PRide awards, not least because it comes less than two years after our major relaunch as Six Degrees. These awards are fantastic recognition of the excellent work carried out by all Six Degrees consultants, for all of our clients. I am particularly proud that three different clients were represented in our winning entries this year.” Six Degrees struck gold in the following categories:
Colin Farrington, CIPR Director General and Chairman of the Judges says; “The PRide Awards are about raising professional standards by identifying, recognising and rewarding the first-rate work going on in the PR industry outside of London. They are also about advancing the profession by clearly demonstrating just what PR can achieve at its best, as a strategic management function that manages relationships and reputation. “The PRide Awards judging process is rigorous and to win is a tremendous achievement. Six Degrees is a worthy winner.” |
